On August 27, 1997, Floyd Fouquette established Fouquette Commercial Real Estate Services.
Floyd began his Real Estate career in 1988 in the property management department of a development company. In 1990, after gaining initial experience of the business, he joined a boutique brokerage firm in Santa Monica, where he worked for seven years. During those years, he realized the importance of offering clients a broad range of integrated services such as property management, investment syndications, and as well as property redevelopment and full development projects.
With the intention of doing so and of nurturing these added services, Floyd established Fouquette Commercial Real Estate Services (FCRES).
A full service Real Estate company, FCRES quickly gained the reputation of being an agile and ambitious firm. Shortly after its founding, FCRES initiated its first property management assignments.
In 1999, FCRES embarked on its first major redevelopment project, converting an industrial building into creative office space. Similar projects would follow, as the "dot.com" era flourished, and subsequently as changing market conditions began to transform LA’s industrial landscape.
The Fouquette Commercial Real Estate Services team grew steadily to include members with unique perspective and drive. 2001 saw the addition of Fran Wittson, marking the beginning of FCRES' involvement in business opportunities, including the lease and sale of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and other food-related entertainment businesses.
Today, FCRES' team is a diverse, go-getting group that carefully nurtures and caters to the needs of the business community- owners, as well as tenants and prospective buyers- in West and Downtown Los Angeles. High ethical standards and strong client relations are at the core of all transactions. |
